Fire Fight Australia Fundraising Tops $10.7 Million!

I was honored to be the primetime host of Fire Fight Australia, broadcast live on Foxtel from 7PM - 11PM during the 10 hour live telecast. The ‘Fire Fight’ bushfire benefit concert had over 75,000 people packed into Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on February 16th, 2020, to do their part to raise finds and also enjoy some of the best live music in the world.

It was a pleasure to host alongside Peter Stefanovic, Laura Jayes, Rove McManus, Matt Shirvington, Deborah Hutton, Hannah Hollis, Shaynna Blaze and Eddie McGuire during the broadcast.

The event was headlined by Queen and Adam Lambert with supporting artist’s including Michael Bublé, 5 Seconds of Summer, Amy Shark, Baker Boy, Conrad Sewell, Daryl Braithwaite, Delta Goodrem, Grinspoon, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, ICEHOUSE, Illy, Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Olivia Newton-John, Peking Duk, Pete Murray, Tina Arena and William Barton.

It was an experience I will never forget and the best bit is the star-studded event raised close to $10.7 million, with more than $1.2 million in additional funds coming in since the historic sold-out concert at ANZ Stadium in Sydney’s Olympic Park on February 16. The money raised is helping Australian rural and regional communities with short, medium and long-term recovery from the worst bushfire season in living memory.
